How to Schedule Thousands of Pins at Once on Pinterest - Tailwind hack - Everything Abode

Today I wanted to talk about a big topic on social media and that’s Pinterest and how to pin fast!

Pinning fast has been a hot topic in Facebook groups for years especially with the change of algorithms all the time these days.

It feels like we have to pin a lot more engaging pins to keep our profile views and traffic intact and it sometimes feels like an uphill battle.

I’ll be really honest, Pinterest is a hard game to manage. It takes a lot of time to grow but that’s only if you are expecting to have millions of views in a short span of time.

Honestly, that’s simply not realistic and I don’t think it’s that easy to do.

Personally, I think Pinterest is more of a pin and slow-burn approach and this is why this pinning hack will help you grow your Pinterest account to the millions, while you can focus on writing and creating content.

So, if you don’t know how to market on Pinterest yet, nonetheless I am here to tell you that this pinning hack is still very manageable if you are patient and know that you can get there like I did.

You just need to be aware of some hacks and tricks that the big pinners know so you can better manage your time to create more content for your blog.

Here’s a quick simple technique I found ages ago that actually got my account off the ground (at the beginning and it still works) and I can’t wait to tell you all about it!

Let’s master your pinning method!

How to Schedule Thousands of Pins at Once on Pinterest

First off, when it comes to Pinterest, I don’t know about you but a lot of us have fallen out of love with Pinterest. ESPECIALLY when they do a Pinterest update.

It’s just one more thing they add to our Pinterest stress and when we have to keep our accounts active and continually growing, learning pinning hacks is probably the best way around those changing times.

Also, I’m still actively researching other blogs like crazy to understand Pinterest better through the hard times, typically when they make updates and such, and I’m still kind of obsessed and hooked with finding new ways to improve my Pinterest strategy.

Another thing that is shocking to me.

A lot of businesses are still not using Pinterest to their fullest potential.

So if you have a business, I am telling you now, you really need to keep your account active for if and when you decide to market your website or products on Pinterest.

Pinterest will just keep getting more and more popular over time.

What does all of this have to do with this Pinning hack?

The reason I said all of the above, is because Pinterest is only getting bigger. Pinterest currently has a whopping 450,000,000 monthly users and counting!

So, if you haven’t started making money from Pinterest yet, then this pinning hack will help you build a strong profile so you can have the potential to start making money in the future.

Another thing, who knows what the future will hold and if making money is something you wish to do when the time comes for it down the road, you’ll have your Pinterest account ready and growing, if you follow the steps in this article!

One more thing, the MONEY potential is quite amazing on Pinterest.  You can make a lot of money on Pinterest through ad revenue or affiliate marketing.

All it takes is a part-time commitment to creating a strong Pinterest account that links to either your website or affiliate marketing method.

So let’s get started so you can follow this technique straight away. You’ll be amazed at how easy this pinning hack is!

Also if you don’t have a blog yet? I have a very simple step-by-step guide on How To Set Up a WordPress Blog in minutes. Check it out! It’s exactly how I set up this blog you are reading!

My Insane Pinning Hack – Through Tailwind!

My Insane Pinning Hack - Through Tailwind!

First, what makes this technique so insane is because it’s SO easy, that’s why!

The method behind the madness is that if you would like to get steady and consistent traffic back to your blog or business? Then Pinterest is going to be your number one answer.

But the question is, would you rather spend less time on Pinterest or more time creating content for your dreams?

I don’t know about you, but I’d much rather be writing than pinning every hour.

Also, if you’re a blogger, then blogging should be about writing and that’s what we are going to accomplish for you today, so keep on reading!

Instead of Scheduling Pins The Old Way…

First things first, instead of scheduling pins one by one manually to Pinterest or with a scheduler (with your pins), we are going to do something a bit different.

Remember, this is a pinning hack that I discovered ages ago and I used it to build up my Pinterest profile to HUGE numbers that you see now today.

Second, this Pinterest hack grew my Pinterest account by around 100 followers a week.

This is because I was pinning my own pins in-between these pins and I was using this time to build up my own content to 50 plus published posts before I marketed my posts on Pinterest.

AGAIN, I only applied this Pinterest hack twice a week in my first year of blogging, to get consistent traffic back to my blog so it could help me grow my Pinterest account (especially the following) while I was writing heavily behind the scenes.

I have to be honest with youI don’t know how far you are into your blogging experience, or if you already have an established Pinterest account already.

But, I do highly recommend that you try out this crazy insane pinning hack that is so easy to implement and that I’m just about to show you!

This is exactly how I grew my Pinterest account!

Let’s start with why it’s best to invest in Yourself, Your Blog, and Then Pin!

Investing in yourself and your blog is the ONLY way that you will be able to see crazy amounts of traffic back to your blog.

Also, if you don’t invest in yourself, how will others invest in you, for if and when you eventually have a product or course to sell?

So, in order to be able to carry out this technique of mass scheduling months of Pinterest content all at once, you can’t ignore a powerful tool that helps drive this pinning method towards its wonderful success.

It is an investment, but it’s the best-approved scheduling tool for Pinterest, and for those of you who don’t know it yet, it’s called  Tailwind!

Now before you think that this is a basic Tailwind “how-to” article, it’s not! I have a great guide to Tailwind here and it’ll show you more in-depth for creating a schedule with more of your own pins to market on Pinterest.

This is different, this is a Tailwind HACK.

Now this hack is all about growing your Pinterest account to the millions so you can grow your Pinterest following and eventually market your pins that lead to your blog posts when you are ready to start growing your traffic.

I used to use this method of pinning massive amounts of content in as little as two hours per week back when I was just starting out, too!

And you can also do this every day for about 10-15 minutes or you can batch it as I did… Whatever works for you!

But your best Pinterest strategy is going to be to pin many times a day to keep growing your Pinterest followers.

So, in order for you to be able to do this, you have to invest in the Tailwind app.

Invest in Tailwind to Do this Hack.

There’s no way around this.

Tailwind will automate your pins for your Pinterest account, so the only habit that you have to get into is scheduling massive amounts of content at once by learning this hack so that you can keep your Pinterest account ACTIVE while you heavily build your online content behind the scenes.

I personally chose to apply this technique just after I recently launched my blog and I stuck with this method of pinning for a whole YEAR and it has worked wonders for getting new traffic to my blog and growing my engagement and my following.

So, if you have a new blog or an established blog you definitely should consider doing this.

The trick to this is, that you will need to have a Pinterest Business account already set up (which requires an URL domain name, and you can get that through Bluehost right here, and then you will need Tailwind

I also have an extensive guide on Tailwind here, so do give that a read so you know what this tool is all about before you invest in it.

If you do not have Tailwind in your arsenal of blogging tools yet? I highly advise you to start their 14-day free trial HERE and take a peek at the tool and then when you are ready, come back to this post to carry out this pinning method.

How I Schedule Months of Pinterest Content (at Once)

How I Schedule Months of Pinterest Content at Once

I will try to explain this as simply as I can.

These steps should make sense if you already are familiar with Tailwind.

But, if you need any help at all, please drop a comment in the comments section below and I will be more than happy to assist you!

Let’s begin this Pinterest and Tailwind hack!

1. Sign in to Tailwind.

The very first thing that you need to do is make sure you don’t have any drafts set up in Tailwind. It’s important that you start with no drafts. You need to have it clear for this particular pinning technique. You’ll understand shortly!

2. Choose a Pinterest board that you would like to pin to.

Pick a specific board from your Pinterest account that you would like to pin to: It could be food, DIY, or fashion, just as long as the pins that you choose will go with that board’s theme.  Choose one board of yours and follow along.

3. Search for Content using Pinterest.

Once you have your board picked, go ahead, and search content for that board using the search area on Pinterest. The search area and keyword that you type in will bring up relevant pins for your chosen board you already picked.

Tip: Most people will use the tailwind browser extension to just start scheduling the pins they see straight away. BUT this is how things get a bit different…

4. Open your Tailwind Browser.

When you are in Pinterest search are, click the Tailwind browser extension. A new window will appear, with the pins from that Pinterest search in it (see image below).

What we are going to do differently here is we are going to Select ONE PIN TO SCHEDULE!

5. Click ‘go schedule’ for that one pin.

Go ahead and click “GO SCHEDULE” with that ONE PIN that you selected. You should now see it in its own separate window.

6. Move the Tailwind Screen over to the right.

The trick here is what you are going to do with that screen: We are going to take that Tailwind window, minimize it and drag it over to the right-hand side of the screen, so we can see all the different Pinterest pins that we recently searched for.

Do you see how the Tailwind window isn’t taking up the full screen?! By doing this, you should be able to see the Pinterest pins that you previously searched for after you moved the tailwind screen over to the right!

7. Keep Filling Up Your Drafts.

Now let’s fill up your drafts with as many pins as you can.

Keep clicking the blue little tailwind button on as many pins as you can!

Keep clicking on as many pins as you can using the Tailwind button that’s on the pins (the second little arrow that’s pointing to it the button is also in the picture above).

As you do this you should see your last pin take place over your previous pin in the tailwind screen on the right, where it says ‘1 New Image Saved‘.

8. Do This For Hundreds Of Pins!

You can do this for hundreds of pins at a time or thousands of pins. For each board, you can do 100 or 200 pins, depending on how many you want to pin to them. And you should be able to get that done in about 5 to 10 minutes. It really shouldn’t take you too long at all.

9. Reload & Refresh Your Drafts Screen in Tailwind.

Now when you think that you have enough pins selected. What you will want to do is go back into your main Tailwind account, click on the drafts icon, and refresh the page, or reload the page.

As the tailwind drafts page refreshes, you should see all of the pins that you selected for your board located in the drafts. (amazing right?!)

Now all of these pins are going to need a board name. What we are going to do is we are going to scroll through and select the board that we want the selected pins to be pinned to.

10. Schedule all drafts and repeat the process.

Once you’ve selected the board for all the pins, hit ‘Schedule All Drafts’ in Tailwind. This will schedule out all of those pins to be pinned out to the board that you selected for the coming months.

Once you are done, repeat this process as much as you want!

That’s it!

What’s So Great About This Technique?

Now keep in mind that the faster you get with this pinning method, the more pins you will have circulating your account and that is what we want to get out of this!

If you were to do this the good old regular way, you would only see about 10 to 15 pins per page in the tailwind window, and let’s be honest, that’s not fast enough!

But using this method you are able to pin hundreds of pins to your drafts at a single time.

Then when you are finished, all you have to do is head on over to your drafts page, select the board for all of the pins, and add them to your queue.

Now, imagine that you did, board by board!

That means you will have hundreds if not thousands of pins that are scheduled and ready to be pinned to your selected Pinterest boards if you did this board by board, too. Pretty amazing right?!

Don’t forget to Mix Things Up:  Make sure to hit the “Shuffle Queue’ button in Tailwind and you will instantly have a variety of pins being pinned to your Pinterest account for months and months to come.

There you have it! Instead of scheduling and picking a board for those pins straight away, by minimizing the Tailwind screen, you can fill up your drafts with more pins.

This strategy is the best bar none if you want to be able to pin hundreds of pins in less than an hour’s work.

Make sure to grab your 14-day free trial to Tailwind here!

This is the best Tailwind hack that I’ve discovered, and I hope you get as much out of it as I had using it.

I hope you liked this hack and if so, please pin it and share it, so I know to write more content like this one!

Hi Rebecca,

i REad your post with interest but i fail to understand how this pinning method brings traffic to your blog if the images you are pinning go to the site they are linked to.

i am missing something? It will be great if you can clarify this.

Thanks

Bianca

Hi Bianca, You are right on point!

At the beginning (and with this pinning method) you will mostly be pinning other peoples content! The reason for this is because the more you pin on Pinterest... The more Pinterest rewards you (by giving the pins that link back to your blog) more impressions!! So yes, the pins you save do lead to those sites, but the end goal will be to eventually start scheduling your content more and more. If your Pinterest account stays active (with a consistent schedule like this), it will allow you to both build up your content and build up your credibility as a Pinterest user. And a good thing to remember is that Pinterest likes variety! So this is a great pinning habit to stay with. Eventually, the end goal will be to schedule all of your own pins to your best time slots (on Tailwind) and lock them... But I'll be soon posting about that later this month. Hope this makes sense. Lmk! :)
